Objective:  

The main objective of the cleanliness drive was to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental protection among students, and to encourage them to keep their surroundings clean under the "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan".  

 

Details of the Activity:  

The Eco Club of our school organized a cleanliness drive on 03/7/2026. All students of Class 7 actively participated under the guidance of our Eco Club members , Mrs. Rashmi Vishwakarma and Mr Prem kumar

 

The drive began at 10 30  AM with a short meeting where students took the Swachhata Pledge. Students were divided into 4 groups. Each group was assigned different areas - school garden, playground and  classrooms.

 

Students cleaned the areas by picking up litter, plastic waste, and dry leaves. Dustbins were placed at key points. Posters with slogans like "Clean India, Green India" and "Say No to Plastic" were put up by students.  

 

Outcome:  

1. The school campus became litter-free and more hygienic

2. Students understood the importance of waste segregation and cleanliness

3. The drive created a sense of responsibility towards the environment

4. A lot of plastic waste was collected and handed over for recycling

 

Conclusion:  

The cleanliness drive was a great success. It helped students learn that "cleanliness begins at home and school". The Eco Club resolved to conduct such drives every month.
