Cyber Security Awareness Campaign Conducted at DAV Public School, Bariatu, Ranchi

 

DAV Public School, Bariatu, Ranchi, organized a Cyber Security Awareness Campaign to educate students about the growing threats of cybercrime and the measures they can adopt to stay safe in the digital world. The programme aimed to enlighten students about various cyber threats and promote responsible online behaviour.

 

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance through knowledge. This was followed by a melodious welcome song presented by the students, setting a positive tone for the programme.

 

The Principal, Mr. S. K. Mishra, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of cyber security in today's technology-driven world. He appreciated the efforts made to organize the awareness campaign and encouraged students to remain vigilant while using digital platforms.

 

The keynote speaker, Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Cyber DSP Ranchi delivered an informative PowerPoint presentation. He explained various forms of cybercrime, including online fraud, phishing, identity theft, and cyberbullying. He also shared practical tips and preventive measures to help students safeguard their personal information and maintain cyber security.

 

Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Besera,DSP,Sadar, Ranchi  also addressed the students and provided valuable insights into safe internet practices. He highlighted the significance of responsible digital citizenship and encouraged students to report any suspicious online activities to the appropriate authorities.

 

The programme proved to be highly informative and engaging. Students gained a deeper understanding of cyber security and learned essential strategies to protect themselves in the digital environment. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the distinguished guests, faculty members, and students for their active participation and support.
