Our school celebrated Earth Day on 22 April 2026 with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility towards the environment. The day aimed to spread awareness among students about the importance of protecting our planet and adopting eco-friendly practices.
The celebration began with a special morning assembly. Students presented thought-provoking speeches, poems, and slogans highlighting environmental issues such as pollution, deforestation, and climate change. Principal,Shri S.K.Mishra expressed strong support for the idea of saving the Earth.A significant highlight of the assembly was the Earth Day pledge, where all students and teachers collectively promised to protect and preserve the Earth by making conscious efforts in their daily lives.
Following the assembly, various classroom activities were organized to engage students creativity.These included poster-making competitions, where students beautifully illustrated themes like “Save Earth” and “Go Green.” Extempore speaking activities were also conducted, allowing students to express their thoughts on environmental conservation and sustainable living.
The celebration successfully instilled awareness and encouraged students to take small but meaningful steps towards saving the Earth. It was a meaningful and impactful initiative that inspired everyone to become more responsible global citizens.
