A campaign for awareness against drug abuse among youth was organised at D.A.V. Public School BARIATU Ranchi. The programme was organised in collaboration with the Bariatu Police Station, Ranchi.

Sadar Dy. S.P. Sri Sajeev Kumar Besra and Bariatu Thana In- Charges Sri Manoj Kumar addressed students of IX and X , who participated in the programme, disseminated informed about the ill effects of drug on social , physical and economic well - being. They appealed students to cultivate new hobbies which lead to their intellectual growth and helpful in realising their dreams .

The Principal Sri Sanjay Kumar Mishra on his keynote address to students said that do not indulge in any act which bring disrepute to your parents. Never get lured to any offer to take drugs, it starts showing its adverse effects from beginning.
